Coal, kindling and briquettes
We decided to keep coal for our customers, simply because it's so easy for you to collect it from us! With plenty of free parking outside our shop, you can back your car right up to the large roller shutter door, and we can load the coal straight into your vehicle.
Our coal is supplied by David Viggers, a local firm.
All our bags are plastic, sealed, and normally clean and dry to handle. They are all 25Kg sacks - if you are price concious, check the size of bag you normally buy, and remember that if you are buying at a net price, there is VAT to add. Our prices all include VAT.
We keep in stock housecoal, Multiheat and mixed ovoids, which are for use in woodburners and on open fires, are a smokeless fuel, and stay in for longer than standard coal, and Anthracite, for Parkrays, Rayburns and some Agas.
We often have a deal available for multiple purchases, ring us for a tonne rate on any of the above fuels.
We also keep in kindling, and Hotmax fuel briquettes which are a compressed wood product (normally a by product of the shavings industry). The briquettes are clean to handle, and burn at a very high temperature, pop into the shop and we'll give you a sample to try!
